SSC JE Recruitment 2019: Employee Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notification for its junior engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantum Survey and Contract) Recruitment Examination 2019 on its official website. According to the notification, the applicants can apply for recruitment examination for posts of SSC JE. The application process for the examination will continue till February 25, 2019. Candidates should choose only for those positions for which they have the qualifications and they meet the criteria of the prescribed age limit. The candidates will have to pay the online fee up to 27 February 2019 (05.00 hrs).

Important dates -

1 .Online application deadline: 25 February, 2019 (5:00 pm)
2. Deadline to pay online fee: February 27, 2019 (5:00 pm)
3. Last date for making offline invoice: February 27, 2019 (5:00 pm)
4. Last date of payment through invoices during the working hours of the bank: February 28, 2019
5. Date of Computer-based Examination (Paper I): September 23 to September 27, 2019
6. Date of Paper-2 (Written Examination): December 29, 2019

Educational Qualification - On the basis of the posts applied, the candidate must possess a degree or diploma in the relevant branch of engineering. Candidates are advised to read about the educational qualifications given in the official advertisement and then apply.

Age limit- Maximum age limit for posts in postal department is 27 years. The maximum age limit for posts in Central Water Commission and Central Public Works Department is 32 years. The maximum age limit for posts in all other departments is 30 years.

Exam pattern- Paper 1, 200-digit period of two hours and objective nature. Candidates will get 50 marks on common sense and logic, 50 marks on general awareness and 100 marks on general engineering (civil and structural) or general engineering (electrical) or general engineering (mechanical).

Candidates who pass in Computer-based examination (Paper-1) will be called for written examination (Paper-2).
